Abruzzo Connections is a digital space connected to the project “Radici che Uniscono: gemellaggio tra Schiavi di Abruzzo e la comunità abruzzese in Paraguay.” The website has informational, cultural and narrative purposes related to the enhancement of Abruzzo roots, migration memory, the territory, experiences and Abruzzo know-how.

- to respond to requests sent by the user through forms or email, based on the user’s request and legitimate interest;
- to evaluate, organize and, where appropriate, publish stories, testimonials, images or materials voluntarily submitted, based on the user’s consent when necessary;
- to document, communicate and report on activities connected to the project, based on legitimate interest, project obligations or consent when required;
- to comply with any legal, administrative or institutional obligations.
5. Provision of Data
Providing data through forms, email or the voluntary submission of materials is optional. However, failure to provide the necessary data may prevent the controller from responding to the request or evaluating the submitted contribution.
Users who submit images, stories or materials relating to third parties declare that they are entitled to share them and, where necessary, that they have obtained the relevant authorizations.

Data is processed using IT tools and, where necessary, also through manual procedures. The controller adopts reasonable measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure or misuse.
Access to the data is limited to subjects who need it for operational, technical, administrative, editorial or project-related purposes.

Data may be processed or communicated, within the limits of what is necessary, to website technical providers, hosting providers, web agencies, developers, subjects supporting digital and editorial activities, project partners, public or institutional bodies involved in the activities, consultants and authorized subjects.
These subjects process data only for purposes connected to the website and the project.

Published content, such as stories or testimonials, may remain online until a removal request is made, except where there are legitimate needs to document activities already carried out.
